Fine elegance with Styrian character

The Weißburgunder, known internationally as Pinot Blanc, impresses with its subtle yet expressive flavour. In South Styria, it develops a special finesse – characterised by the chalky soils and unique climate of the region. Its flavour is characterised by fine nutty notes, juicy pear and apple aromas and a pleasant creamy texture.

Why is Weißburgunder an insider tip?

The all-rounder!

While Sauvignon Blanc is considered the flagship of the region, Weißburgunder is often found on the wine lists of true connoisseurs. Its restrained fruitiness, paired with a lively acidity and a fine minerality, make it the perfect accompaniment to food.

It harmonises particularly well with bright meat dishes, fish, asparagus and creamy sauces.

Diverse styles – from fresh everyday wine to reserve

Weißburgunder from South Styria presents itself in different facets. Young, fresh wines inspire with their lightness and animating freshness, while reserve Weißburgunder matured in wood impress with their depth, mellowness and great ageing potential.
