Culinary holiday in autumn in South Styria
From the grape harvest to the first tasting, autumn plays all the parts in South Styria. But it’s not just grapes that are harvested here in autumn – gardens, meadows and trees also reveal their culinary treasures. All gourmets are in the right place here: In addition to the hearty Brettljause – traditional cold cuts in the traditional Buschenschank (Traditional Wine Tavern) and local autumn classics in our restaurant in South Styria, visitors particularly enjoy the good young wine, the Junker. The harvest for this popular wine usually starts at the end of September. It can then traditionally be tasted at the beginning of November – on the Wednesday before St Martin’s Day.
