The Ratscher Landhaus in South Styria is open at different times depending on the season.
Until 7 November 2026:
Open daily. Breakfast from 8.00 am to 10.00 am. From 10.00 am, we serve drinks in the restaurant. The Lounge (serving hot meals) is open from 1.00 pm–4.00 pm, the evening menu is available from 6.00 pm–21:00 and the Wine Bar from 16:00–23:30. The Café is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 13:00.
8 November to 20 December 2026:
Sunday evening & Monday closed! Breakfast Wednesday–Sunday from 8.00–10.00. Drinks are available in the restaurant from 10.00. The Lounge (serving hot meals) is open Tuesday–Sunday from 13.00–16.00. The evening menu and Wine Bar are available Tuesday–Saturday. The Café is open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Winter break:
From 21 December 2026 to 22 February 2027, the Ratscher Landhaus will be closed. From 23 February 2027, we’ll be back to serve you.
Yes, there are free parking spaces available right next to the Ratscher Landhaus.
When booking at the Ratscher Landhaus, a deposit of 30 per cent is required. Cancellation is free of charge up to four weeks before the start of your stay. After this, 30 per cent will be charged for cancellations made 27 to 15 days before arrival, 50 per cent for cancellations made 14 to 8 days before arrival, and 80 per cent for cancellations made 7 to 6 days before arrival. From five days before arrival, as well as in the event of a no-show or early departure, 100 per cent of the total price will be charged. If the room can be re-let, only an administration fee of €25.00 per room will be charged.
If the desired room category or travel dates are not available online, guests can contact the Ratscher Landhaus directly. The team will check the options personally. Double rooms for single occupancy are generally only available on a limited basis and upon request; they cannot be booked directly online.

An overnight stay at the Ratscher Landhaus includes a generous breakfast featuring homemade and regional produce. This includes a fine selection from the buffet and egg dishes from the live cooking station. The ‘Das Große Glück’ half-board option, featuring a four-course menu, can also be booked as an add-on.
The Ratscher Landhaus offers 42 rooms in various categories. Guests can choose from a range of double rooms, Panoramic Rooms, wine-themed rooms and suites for couples and families. Many rooms offer views of the surrounding vineyards. Some also feature a hanging swing on the balcony.
