The South Styrian Wineroad, which is around 25 kilometres long and runs along the Austrian-Slovenian border, invites you to go Hiking Tours or Cycling Tours through South Styria, even in summer temperatures. And if it does get too hot, because you’re going uphill rather than downhill, you can stop off at one of the many Buschenschank (Traditional Wine Tavern) for refreshments. A farmer’s salad, a strudel and a glass of wine later, your energy reserves are replenished and the Hiking Tour or journey can continue. Where to? It doesn’t matter, there are impressive views and places everywhere.
Our tip: Unique panoramic points can also be found away from the wine route. Herzerl Straße, Grenztisch and the largest bunch of grapes in the world are just a few of them.

If you prefer swimming with a view, enjoy a few relaxing laps in our 14-metre infinity pool, overlooking the rolling hills of Southern Styria. Right next to it, the covered terrace offers a pleasantly shaded retreat with panoramic vineyard views.
For refreshments throughout the day, our self-service pool bar has everything you need. Whether it’s a chilled glass of local wine, sparkling wine, an ice cream, a cup of coffee, or other refreshing drinks, you’ll always find the perfect treat for a sunny afternoon.
Everyone will find their favourite spot here: sun lovers can relax by the infinity pool, while those who prefer the shade will enjoy the natural pool beneath the trees or the covered terrace. After a refreshing swim, a glass of wine, and the peaceful view across the vineyards, you’ll realise that the perfect summer doesn’t always need the sea – sometimes, Southern Styria is all you need.
