South Styria is not only one of the most beautiful wine regions in Austria, but also one in which friendship and mutual appreciation play a special role. Anyone who has ever strolled through the gentle hills of the vineyards or sat in a Buschenschank (Traditional Wine Tavern) on a convivial evening knows that things are warm, open and friendly here

In South Styria, winemakers don’t think in terms of competition, but in terms of cohesion. People help each other, exchange ideas and support each other – be it during the harvest, in the cellar or simply with a good glass of wine. This special attitude to life always produces great things

What happens at a Wine Tasting?
Real friendship comes from mutual appreciation – and it’s the same with special wines. Unique rarities often arise from spontaneous moments, shared ideas or simply the desire to create something special.
This is also how our friendships with southern Styrian winemakers have grown:

These connections have grown and matured over the years, just like the special wines that have emerged from them.

Sometimes an extraordinary wine just happens – without a plan, without great intention, but out of a feeling of togetherness.
A barrel in the cellar that has turned out particularly well, a vintage with character that is not meant to be savoured quickly. These wines are allowed to mature, just like true friendships.
And it is precisely these treasures that lie in our wine cellar, are carefully guarded and opened at the right moment – for special occasions and good friends.
