Breakfast in the restaurant: 08:00–10:30 Lounge & à la carte dining: 13:00–16:00 Café: from 1.00 pm Wine Bar: from 4.00 pm 4-course evening menu in the restaurant: from 6.00 pm, last order by 7.30 pm at the latest As a general rule, our dining venues are open daily. Please note our winter opening hours: From November to March, we are closed on Sunday evenings and Mondays.

Can you host celebrations at the Ratscher Landhaus?

We’d be delighted to help. We can cater for groups of any size, from 2 to 50 people. Whether it’s a four-course meal, a barbecue or a First Communion dinner, we look forward to receiving your booking.

Can we celebrate birthdays and family occasions at the Ratscher Landhaus?

Yes, we’d be delighted! The Ratscher Landhaus offers the perfect setting for birthdays, family celebrations, anniversaries, Christmas parties and other special occasions. Depending on the size and nature of your celebration, we’ll work with you to find the right venue and catering options.

Can we celebrate our wedding at the Ratscher Landhaus?

Yes – we’re very happy to host small weddings. However, we’re not a traditional venue for large wedding parties with a band and entertainment. The Ratscher Landhaus is particularly well-suited to couples who wish to celebrate their wedding in an intimate, personal setting. If good food, good wine and, above all, enjoying each other’s company and spending time together are to be the focus of your day, then you’ve come to the right place.

Are small celebrations also possible?

Absolutely. It’s often the small celebrations that are the most special. A birthday with the family, an anniversary with your loved ones, or simply a special occasion you’d like to celebrate together. With us, it can be straightforward, personal and enjoyable.

Can we dine at your restaurant as a group?

We’d be delighted. Depending on the size of your group, the time of day and the occasion, we’ll discuss with you which culinary options best suit your group. Whether it’s a fried chicken dinner or simply a coffee and cake break, anything is possible! Please make a booking or enquire with us in good time for larger groups.

Can you accommodate vegetarian guests?

Of course. Vegetarian options are a given here. When planning, please let us know about any allergies or food intolerances within your group.

Is there a special menu for groups and celebrations?

Yes, that depends on the size of your group and the occasion. We’ll discuss with you in advance which culinary options are best suited. Because there’s one thing that mustn’t be overlooked at a celebration at the Ratscher Landhaus: the enjoyment.

Can our guests stay overnight after the celebration?

Yes, and that’s particularly nice, of course: after a lovely evening and a glass or two of good wine, it’s not far to bed. If you need several rooms, we recommend that you enquire about them as early as possible. Please bear in mind that at weekends there is a minimum booking of 2–3 nights, depending on the season. Just get in touch!

Can we have breakfast together the next morning?

We’d be delighted. After a night out, you can start the next day in a relaxed way with our breakfast buffet from 08:00 to 10:30. So what starts as an evening together might just turn into a little weekend of indulgence in South Styria.

And if you’d like to really treat yourself after the celebrations, simply stay the night: In our hotel with an Infinity Pool, spa area and panoramic views over the vineyards, wellness and wine to create a unique feel-good experience. Menu selection & number of guests – How it works

A handshake agreement

You can put together your own personalised menu to suit your tastes:
👉 1 starter, up to 2 soups, up to 3 main courses and a delicious dessert – all tailored to your celebration and your guests’ preferences.

In a personal consultation – either in person or by telephone – you can discuss all the details regarding the menu, the programme and any special requests with Ms Muster. We like to be well prepared, so such a meeting cannot be arranged at short notice. We’ll set aside time for you, so please make an appointment. You’ll then receive a written confirmation with all the details.

Please keep us updated regarding the number of guests – we know that things can sometimes change, particularly with family celebrations.

Important:
The number of guests covered forms the basis for the bill.
Should anyone be unable to attend at short notice, please let us know by 9.00 am on the day of the event.

This allows us to respond flexibly – and you can enjoy a relaxed celebration in the finest Ratscher Landhaus style.

Absolutely. Especially when family and friends are travelling from further afield, it makes sense to turn a special day into a weekend away together.

Celebrate, stay overnight, have breakfast together, enjoy some spa treatments and explore South Styria – that way, you’ll have more time for each other and your celebration will turn into a little break together.

Are smaller family celebrations also possible?

Of course. Not every celebration has to be a big one.

The Ratscher Landhaus is also a lovely venue in South Styria for a special meal with just the family, a birthday, a christening or an anniversary.

Together, we’ll find the setting that suits your occasion and the size of your party.

Can our restaurant or party guests also use the wellness area?

The Wellness Area and the pool are reserved for hotel and day spa guests. Guests visiting the restaurant are not permitted to use them. So it’s best to book a room straight away to join the celebrations!

Can we start our celebration with a reception?

We’d be delighted. A joint reception is a lovely way to welcome your guests and kick off the celebrations in a relaxed atmosphere. The sun terrace is the perfect spot to start with Sekt, sparklingwine or non-alcoholic drinks.

Is a buffet also available for celebrations?

For larger, convivial celebrations, a Styrian local buffet can also be a lovely alternative to the traditional set menu – available for groups of 30 or more.

A buffet provides a relaxed and sociable setting, particularly for birthday parties, family gatherings or corporate events.

What menus are available for celebrations?

We offer a range of culinary options for your celebration. Our 3-, 4- or 5-course menus are particularly popular.

Depending on the occasion, group size and date, we’ll discuss together which option best suits your celebration. À la carte selection is not available for groups.

Is it possible to celebrate a confirmation at the Ratscher Landhaus?

Of course. A Confirmation can also be celebrated wonderfully here.

Whether it’s a group lunch or a longer family celebration – we’ll tailor the catering to suit the size of your party and your preferences.

Can we celebrate a First Communion at the Ratscher Landhaus?

Yes. The Ratscher Landhaus offers a lovely setting for the whole family, particularly for a First Communion in South Styria.

After the church service, the family gathers here, enjoys lunch together and then spends a few relaxing hours in each other’s company.
